Who is organising the conference?

The Conference is being organised by Connecting Trust, a Pune-based NGO
working in the field of suicide prevention and mental health.

 

Connecting Trust was initiated in 2005 by a group of concerned and socially sensitive citizens, led by Arnavaz Damania. Our programs are largely run by volunteers as we believe that suicide prevention as a public health concern, needs to involve everyone. All our work is governed by a humanistic approach in Mindfulness Based Active

What are the dates?

The Conference is from 28th to 30th November, 2025. On 28th November is the
pre-conference workshop.

What is the Agenda?

The pre-conference workshop on the 28th of November from 2:30pm - 5:30pm will
broadly be a skill-based workshop on Connection & Relational Safety: Why
Listening is key in suicide exploration and risk assessment. The 2-day
Conference on 29th & 30th Nov aims to cover fresh perspectives on suicide
prevention and mental health through key note addresses, plenary panel
discussions, three parallel sessions in the afternoon and listening circles in the
evening. For the parallel sessions on both days, participants need to
confirm their choice/selection at the start of each day. See Agenda

Who can participate?

Mental health professionals, volunteers in the field of suicide prevention, social
workers and NGOs working in allied fields

I know someone who often talks about suicide. Can they attend the
conference?

The conference is meant for dialogue and learning among practitioners
who work in the field of mental health, suicide prevention or allied areas.
For support for someone who is talking about suicide or those who have lost

Where can a participant stay for the conference if attending from outside
Pune?

Participants can stay at the Tarawade Clarks Inn or any hotel nearby. You may call

How do I pay for the conference?

You can directly go to the registration form, select a category and make the payment
through G-pay or bank transfer. You can register for the conference here.

My payment didn’t go through on the day of the early bird deadline. Can I
still get the early bird dates?

To help us with a smooth registration process the early bird pricing cannot be availed of
after the deadline.

I am a presenter (scientific/invited). Do I need to register?

Invited presenters do not need to register. Your Coordinator will
ensure you are registered.

If you have submitted abstracts through call for proposals and are chosen for oral or poster presentation, you need to register for the conference. 

I have a question about the conference, who can i talk to? On what
number?
